IGU-UGI International Geographical Congress 2024 in Dublin

The IGU-UGI International Geographical Congress took place at Dublin City University in Ireland from August 24 to 30, 2024. In addition to geographical education, the topics of the conference included transport and mobility, urban planning, water use and conflicts, migration, political geographies, tourism and feminist geographies. On behalf of the IDN, Prof. Dr. Christiane Meyer, Merle Biermann, Jonas Koch and Lara Brede took part in the conference and presented current research projects and results in geography didactics in the following three lectures:
