In diesem Jahr fand die 96. Tagung der National Association for Research in Science Teaching (NARST) unter dem Titel „Reflecting on Reform“ in Chicago (USA) statt.
Das IDN wurde dabei durch verschiedene Beiträge von Dr. Stefanie Lenzer, Marco Reith, Benjamin Heinitz und Prof. Dr. Andreas Nehring vertreten.
